We are a design and build, landscape contractor, producing award winning gardens for our clients across Kent and the South East. Our office is based in a lovely rural setting on The Birling Estate, near West Malling.
We have a growing and experienced team in place which includes landscape design and site construction teams. Our work is bespoke landscape construction for private domestic clients and also includes show gardens.
We are proud to provide innovative designs that are tailored to meet the individual client requirements, but also work with a number of independent garden designers and landscape architects to deliver their schemes to the highest standards. The company has undergone considerable expansion over recent years and continues to grow.

We seek candidates who have a good understanding of the practical, technical, financial and qualitative requirements within the industry and have the ability to use this knowledge in order to manage the delivery of our projects, from initial planning, resourcing and procurement, through to delivery of all hard and soft landscape installations and management of site teams as necessary.
Candidates must be able to meet tight deadlines and have the ability to manage a number of projects concurrently, managing personnel and resources as necessary.
It is important that you are well organised and have good communication skills, both written and oral, as well as excellent IT skills.
Accountabilities and Responsibilities
• Communicate clearly and positively with all parties
• Undertake Project Management including both hard and soft landscaping elements
• Understand site setting out and be able to interpret measured drawings
• Understanding, monitoring and negotiation of prices of materials etc.
• Undertaking effective procurement of materials and resources for each project
• Plan and manage projects using project management software / Gantt charts
• Assess the most efficient way of carrying out a task or project to ensure the companies competitive delivery of schemes
• Obtaining quotes from suppliers and sub-contractors
• Work with the Landscape Manager to coordinate the management of staff in running the companies soft landscape operations / maintenance division.
• Arrange and undertake client visits as required
• Meeting department targets
• Carry out such duties as are required and as are commensurate with the grade of post
Qualifications and Experience
Proven experience in landscaping/operations management
Proven organisational and analytical skills with strong attention to detail
Systemised and methodical approach
A working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
A ‘hands on’ approach to tasks
Ability to take on and accept full responsibility for own actions
